MATERIALS, ANIMAL WELFARE POLICY, CERTIFICATIONS AND CIRCULARITY
They exclusively use recycled materials, such as post-consumer plastic bottles, used textiles, and discarded leather sourced from various industries, including luxury fashion houses and furniture manufacturers. Through this approach, Been London reduces the demand for new resources and contributes to diverting materials from landfills. They also strive to minimise waste by collecting and recycling any offcuts generated during production.
Been London is committed to working with materials that have a transparent supply chain and are certified to meet their stated standards.
They assure us in their Animal Welfare Policy, that they are committed to avoiding animal cruelty by excluding exotic or endangered skins, feathers, fur, down, silk, angora and mohair from their collections. Instead, they introduce vegan leather alternatives always prioritising sustainability and ethical production.
